Teacher-directed Project (Sample)
At Northern Waters, students work on a combination of teacher-directed and student-initiated projects in order to ensure coverage of core subjects and Wisconsin State Standards.
This graphic shows how core subjects, field skills, and 21st century skills are learned through an integrated project on Aldo Leopold's February essay, "Good Oak". This essay is found in A Sand County Almanac.
* Core subjects are coded by color. Science is represented by green, social studies by blue, English by red, and math by yellow. Field skills and 21st century skills are listed outside of the circles.
